Javier Manrique
Bio:
Javier Manrique is a multidisciplinary artist who has recently shown at the Art Museum of the Americas in Washington DC and at the Maryland Art Place in Baltimore, other museums include The Graphic Triennial at the Museum of Modern Art and the Photography Biennial at the Palace of Fine Arts both in Mexico City.
His one man shows have been at the Chopo Museum and Academy of San Carlos in Mexico City, Galeria Arroyo de la Plata in Zacatecas and Museo de Arte Contemporaneo in Aguascalientes Mexico. He is a founding member of Grupo Arteria based in Mexico City which in 2002 represented Mexico at the International Print Fair Estampa in Madrid Spain. He has taught The Complete Fresco Course at CCA and presently resides in San Francisco at Project Artaud. |
