Bio: My newest work, shown here, is a combination of abstracted scenery and gestural elements that form semi-narrative scenes. My abstract paintings are taking on new significance, as important transitions (or meditations) between representational pieces. While mostly painting and drawing these day, I am not wedded to any particular medium or discipline.

One typically thinks of deep personal relationships as being their closest and most emotional connections. My newest series "eyes closed" addresses my relationships with place and memory, exploring an inner world that is perhaps more intimate than real life. Girlish figures inhabit an otherworldly labyrinth, navigating between comforting familiarity and vaguely known terrain.
